Hamilton History

The pieces exhibited here were copied from over a thousand black and white photos supplied to me by the archivist, Brian Henley, of the Hamilton Public Library. It was an exercise in commercial illustration, -- a specialization that I enjoyed as a text-book illustrator some years earlier. Interpreting black and white into colour was an interesting challenge in creating a dimension of reality.
