The artist's comment..." When I am
painting the beauty that surrounds me, I am usually quite alone in dense woods where the silence is broken by
birds,
chattering chipmunks, or the babble of a nearby brook. The ambient
stimulates a profound sense of unity with Nature that brings into sharp focus
how deeply we are all involved with the omnipotence and benevolence of God's
love.
I have been given a magnificent gift...and with it a moral responsibility to
those who are not so endowed. My duty is to share and express to the viewer the
intrinsic beauty of God's creations that many of us take for granted. This is my
job."
